    Introduction:

    Hip hop has emerged as a powerful cultural force in urban settings around the world, shaping the identities and lifestyles of young people from diverse backgrounds. This paper draws on ethnographic research conducted in New York City and London to explore the impact of hip hop on youth culture. We begin by providing an overview of hip hop culture, including its origins, key elements, and global reach.     Literature Review:

We suggest that future research should focus on the ways in which hip hop intersects with broader cultural trends and developments, and on the ways in which young people are navigating the contradictory impulses of hip hop culture in their everyday lives.
